Shavington case study
Several garden jobs completed in one coordinated visit
Hedge cutting, careful holly shaping, fruit tree pollarding and stump grinding helped prepare this established garden for its next round of planting.
- Hedges and holly reshaped
- Fruit tree pollarded
- Old stumps ground out for planting
The project
Tidying established growth and making space for new planting
The problem
This Shavington garden needed several maintenance jobs completing together. The hedges and holly bush required cutting and shaping, the fruit tree needed pollarding, and old stumps were occupying areas intended for new planting.
What Adam did
The hedges were cut, the holly was shaped into a neater form and the fruit tree was pollarded. The old stumps were then ground down so they would no longer obstruct the planned planting areas.
The outcome
The garden has a tidier structure, the established trees and shrubs have been brought back under control, and the former stump areas are ready for the customer's next planting stage.
