The project
Opening up a garden by removing a mature boundary hedge
The problem
A tall, dense conifer hedge occupied a substantial stretch of the garden boundary and limited the usable space around it.
What Adam did
The hedge was taken down in controlled sections, leaving the main stems accessible for the next stage of the removal.
The outcome so far
The work has opened up the boundary and revealed the fence behind it. A final after photograph will be added when the job is complete.
Before and current progress
Drag to see the space opening up
The current view shows the hedge reduced to its main stems. The finished after photograph will replace it when available.
Before The same garden boundary with the conifer hedge reduced to its main stems

A careful, section-by-section removal
Genuine photographs from the same hedge-removal project, from the standing hedge through to the current stage.
